Basic Electronics Subhas Chandra SamantaThis tutorial is about the Basic Electronics. This article explores some of the different circuits, each with a few small circuit diagrams along with their components and what they do. It also talks about how to interpret electrical schematics, which is basically just drawing on paper for circuits that are drawn digitally on printed circuit boards, or PCBs.Being able to understand these schematics can be beneficial for you in your future life as it will help you understand more about the electronics in product design than what is explained clearly in manuals or advertisements—albeit indirectly. With this knowledge, you will be able to work on new electronic projects while understanding them fully. Showing that this knowledge is related to all aspects of the Basic Electronics domain, it talks about different applications of these schematics. It also mentions basic troubleshooting skills that can be used when you encounter problems. This article will now take a look at this circuit and explain how it works as well as its associated parts and components.Basic Electric Circuit: The circuit illustrated shows a basic electric circuit which consists of an input voltage source and two amplifiers. The voltage source is represented by the battery across which we connect the + pole of battery B and the – pole we connect with resistor R1. By this resistors R1, the voltage across the battery is divided equally in its + and - poles. Here both the poles of battery B are connected in parallel with each other. The positive pole is connected to pin 6 of IC1 which is an operand amplifier. The negative pole of battery B is connected to pin 6 of IC2 which is a comparator amplifier. The non-inverting terminal pins of both these op-amps are connected to ground through resistors R4 and R3 respectively. The inverting terminal pin 1, 2, 3 and 4 of both ICs are also connected to ground through 4.7K ohms resistors R5, R6, R7 and R8 respectively. The non-inverting terminal pin 5 of IC1 and PIN 5, 6 and 7 of IC2 are connected to each other by the 4.7K ohms resistor R9. Pin 5 of IC2 is grounded via a 4.7K ohms resistor R10. The inverting terminal pin 4 of IC1 and PIN 3,4 and 8 of IC2 are connected to each other by the 220K ohms resistor R11 and therefore to ground through 4.7K ohms resistor R12 respectively. Further, PIN 5 of IC1 and PIN 2, 3 and 4 of IC2 are connected to each other by the 220K ohms resistor R13. The non-inverting terminal pins 8 of both IC1 and IC2 are connected to each other via 4.7K ohms resistor R14. Pin 8 of IC1 is also connected to ground through a 4.7K ohms resistor R15 as well as to the inverted output pin via a 10K ohms potentiometer VR1 which acts as a volume control VR.
